The concept of this work reflects the changing behaviors of people in contemporary urban society, who are gradually becoming distanced from nature both physically and mentally. Urban development, which prioritizes convenience, speed, and economic efficiency, has pushed nature out of people’s daily lives. Yet, in reality, humans remain inseparable from the ecological system.

This creative work questions the way of life within human-made environments by comparing the surfaces of constructed structures—such as concrete, glass, and other manufactured materials.

The project takes the form of a printmaking installation, utilizing 167 editions of etching prints (50 x 100 cm) installed across a 68-square-meter space. It presents these environments through an artistic interpretation, inviting viewers to enter and become part of the work itself, while also evoking the silence of spaces where nature once played an essential role.
This concept also reflects the fragility of the balance between humans and nature, raising questions about the future of urban development: Can we reconnect with nature again—not as an object placed within urban space, but as an inseparable part of life itself?
